I'm Jerry and I host a number of federated servers because I believe people need to have access to social sites and messaging applications that are not centrally owned by corporations whose intentions are to track you for revenue opportunity or to violate your privacy rights.
But this effort, my hobby, is very expensive. I am willing to spend the time (a lot, believe me) on maintaining these systems, but it has become very expensive and this is creating pressure.
You can partner with me by donating money to help pay for the infrastructure. These servers are free and will always be free, but if you can easily afford to join me, please consider it.
If you find these services useful, and you are financially comfortable, please help keep the lights on!
